When I first found out

that you were growing inside.

I had to share this news

because you were too special to hide.

We had so many plans for you

here on this Earth.

You were the one to be many firsts

at the moment of your birth.

Then one humid, summer day

I knew something was wrong.

I prayed to God and He told me

that Heaven is where you now belong.

The pain I felt in my womb

so intense as you slipped away.

The pain I felt in my heart

will never go astray.

My Precious Angel up above
